Have you ever just needed a script but don’t want to go through the lengthy process of booking an appointment, driving to the GP and losing an hour, or two, out of your day? Waiting rooms are a thing of the past with telehealth prescriptions, providing a new and innovative way to receive and order your prescription without the hassle of going to the doctor. You can now sit on your couch and in some instances get your script sent to your local pharmacy within the hour*, or get the medication delivered vian next day delivery direct to your home!
We have 2 options for getting a telehealth prescription dependent on if you are looking for a new or repeat script.
If looking for a repeat prescription you’ll likely be able to use our quickscript service (dependent on the medication you are requesting). With quickscript, all you have to do is answer some quick questions about your condition, and one of our experienced Doctors will review your assessment. Due to our quick service, in most instances, we can send you an electronic prescription* to your mobile as an SMS (if you are a Medicare card holder) or send your scripts to your local pharmacy for a pickup within 1 hour. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can send your medication by express post to your home or workplace. It is that easy.
If your medication is not on our quick script list we may still be able to help with your repeat prescription via our video consult service.
All new prescriptions require you to speak with a doctor via our online doctors service. If a prescription is provided by the consulting doctor, it will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice immediately following the consultation. For those late-night requests, our Doctors on Demand Australian registered doctors are available after hours and here when you need them.
Don’t take the risk of getting sick by visiting your doctors and order your telehealth prescription while you are at home.
