Everything you need to know

If the consulting doctor believes your condition requires a medical certificate, they will issue and email one to you following your video consultation. We can also post the original document to you if your employer requires the medical certificate, upon request.

Please note: medical certificates are legal documents. Issuing of medical certificates is at the discretion of the doctor.

Can I get a medical certificate certifying me as unwell for an illness I experienced in the past?

Unfortunately, our doctors cannot backdate medical certificates. Certificates can only be provided on the day of the consultation. We apologise we cannot assist you in these circumstances.
