Online Psychologist Frequently Asked Questions

What mental health conditions can be treated using telehealth?

Sometimes it is hard to focus on your wellbeing and mental health. The earlier you seek help, the better you are able to stay mentally healthy. Our online psychologists can talk with you about:

Depression, Addictions, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Stress, Trauma & Loss, Social Anxiety

What do I need to be eligible for Medicare rebates?

If you are over 18 years of age and have a current Medicare card, you may be eligible to access Medicare benefits for mental health services.

Speak with your regular GP and let them know if you are not feeling 100% or may be struggling. You can discuss a Referral to a Psychologist and a Mental Health Plan for ongoing Psychology services.

Why is a telehealth consultation suited to better mental health?

Accessing mental health support via telehealth can fill the gap where face-to-face therapy is not available or accessible. It can also be a beneficial point to start for some patients who do not feel ready to speak to someone face-to-face. The ultimate benefit is better access to the support you need, when you need it. Our practitioners are experts in their field who deliver high quality care in line with best practice guidelines for mental health.
