Delivery
We understand it is important that you receive any prescription medicine
the doctor has recommended as quickly as possible. In many cases it can be
critical to the success of the treatment that you start taking it immediately.
To ensure your experience with Doctors on Demand is as simple and streamlined
as possible, we provide prescription delivery via electronic prescription
(eScript) to your mobile as an SMS (for Medicare card holders). Alternatively, you may choose to have your
prescription sent to your preferred local pharmacy for immediate collection of
your medication.
*Guaranteed next business day delivery for consultations completed
before 10am within the Express Post delivery network only, dispatch from Brisbane. The Express
Post network covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and
post office boxes. If your item is for an address outside this network it won't
be covered by our Next Day Guarantee. If you do not finish your appointment
before 10am, we will still do our best to dispatch your parcel that day and it
should still get to you in 1-3 business days (depending on where you live in
Australia). The delivery standards for Australia Post varies depending on your

Returns
The doctors we contract are all Australian registered and have been
screened to ensure they provide the best in customer service and patient
healthcare. They are committed to providing you with the greatest advice possible
and just like your regular doctor do not offer refunds on their professional
service. However, they are all fully insured in the unlikely event a
medico-legal claim needs to be made.
If in the doctor's opinion you require a physical face to face consultation,
they may refund your consultation fee at their individual discretion.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds on prescription medicines as the law
prohibits their return once they have been dispensed. This is due to State Health regulations, general medicines and
prescriptions including any preparation that is taken orally cannot be returned
or refunded. Once the product has left the pharmacy, the storage conditions of the
product cannot be guaranteed, and it is possible the product could be tampered with.
Refunds, if applicable, will only be made using the online payment
gateway to the card originally used for payment. Refunds may take up to five
working days to appear on a card statement.
Online Medications and Scripts (Quickscript)
Delivery
We understand it is important that you receive your orders as quickly as
possible. To ensure your experience with QuickScript is as simple and
convenient as possible, we offer three methods of delivery to choose from for
your prescription:
- Electronic
prescription sent to your mobile as an SMS (for Australian Medicare card holders);
- Digital
copy of a paper prescription sent via fax and email to your local
pharmacy; or
- For
non-urgent conditions or if more convenient, you can have the prescription
dispensed by a Partner Pharmacy and posted out to you.
Collecting your prescription from your local pharmacy will generally
result in you being able to receive your medication faster as they will have a
copy of your prescription as soon as it is approved by the doctor.
Alternatively, if you would like your prescription dispensed and
delivered, our Partner Pharmacy has engaged Australia Post to offer guaranteed Express
Next Day delivery* for $9.95.
If you do not complete your checkout before 10am, we will still do our
best to dispatch your parcel that day and it should still get to you in 1-3
business days (depending on where you live in Australia). The delivery

All parcels will be delivered to the provided address and will require a
signature on receipt. It is recommended to provide a work address for delivery
if no one is home during business hours. Due to security issues, the parcel cannot be left unattended. Where no
one is home to sign for the parcel, a card will be left detailing the nearest
Australia Post outlet where the parcel can be collected during normal business
hours.
Please note QuickScript is relying on a third party for delivery and
these timetables and guidelines are based on reasonable expectations and
experiences. QuickScript will not be liable for any loss or damage (including
but not limited to consequential loss) resulting from a failure to deliver in
accordance with these timetables.

confirmed, so completing the questionnaire and checkout process does not
guarantee you will receive the prescription or medicine. If the doctor thinks
that you need a face to face consultation, you will receive a full refund and
we will advise you to attend your local practice, or if suitable, book an
online Telehealth video conference appointment with a doctor through our
website www.doctorsondemand.com.au.
